Imax Big Cinemas Multiplex in Wadala

Very good cinema hall,especially the sound system is terrific!

We went for `Life Partner` to Imax Big Cinemas Wadala, last Sunday evening. I must say that I was dismayed at the slide in overall experience quality - Imax used to

be our favourite multiplex. The change has happened after Reliance ADAG took it over and made it `Big`. To start with, we went early in order to browse through

books at Crossword - surprise, it was shut and no-one seemed to know why. We proceeded upstairs and were startled by the prices at the food counters - Rs 70 for

a lebanese chicken crepe at Crepe Station (more like crap, it wasn`t worth it at all); Rs 70 for popcorn; Rs 80 for iced tea! Still smarting, we walked towards the

cinema halls for another shock - the usually brightly lit passage outside the theatres is now lit up (??) by hidden neon-red lights - not only did it make walking/reading

tickets difficult, it looked rather seedy, like at a C-grade nightclub. Then, we noticed that our tickets said ``Screen 5`` - surprise again - there was no screen 5! On

asking around, we were directed towards the 2nd floor - the Imax dome has now been converted into a regular cinema hall - no signage whatsoever. The lighting in

the dome is absolutely inadequate, impossible to read seat numbers. A bright spot was the size of the screen, much bigger than the others. Disappointed.

We tried getting through their customer care no. 8 times now & still counting!! food quality & value for money is the worst!! Staff at Imax big cinemas is inefficient, unfriendly & rude!! Wish Anil Ambani could visit the place like a common man or even try calling the customer care to experience .

Extremely bad customer service ,no good response, improper enquiry service .

It`s gr8 ....but too expensive. Have to spend for an amazing experience.
